Love Box

Hello Friends! I am back and hope to stick around this year. Today the world is celebrating Valentine's Day by stuffing itself with chocolate and swimming in rose petals. For me Valentine's Day is about remembering love. Love of those who have passed and of those who are still with us. Valentine's Day, for me, is a time to show my love to those who have a place in my heart. This year I spent weeks preparing two special boxes for two special someones. Boxes full of flowers, sweets,garlands, hearts, sweets, handmade amigurumi lions, self-made string art, and of course what every Russian girl needs- a box of tea! Boxes full of Love.  

     

One will go to a special friend of mine, who forever will be nicknamed Luna {moon}, who doesn't have to try hard to make me smile and who can forever roll with my punches. The two of us together have the capacity to talk what might seem like nonsense to others but completely understand each other. The second one will go to a very dear and close friend that has stuck with me through the thick and thin. She has never betrayed my confidence and has always helped me stand back up after I have been knocked down. She is my support system, she stops the tears, covers the hurt, and brings me the smile. These two are simply a blessing. And that is why I am sending them my love in a box. Valentine's Day is not just for couples. Take advantage of it and tell someone you love them.
